Water powered engines were here in the 18th century.

While doing some research on the internet, I learned that the new hybrids which use water and gas for fuel are really not a totally new concept. In the 18th century, cars were available that used only water 4 gas. The problem was that they were expensive to buy, thus no one wanted to buy them. They were also low in performance, which was another reason people did not purchase them. However, the new hybrids use both water and gas for fuel and are just as good on performance as a totally gas-fueled vehicle. The good news is that you can convert your car to a hybrid by yourself with no special mechanical ability.
