I was astoneshed lately when I saw a great video (a documentary film) about famous violinist Itzhak Perlman. Perlman is actively recording CDs and appearing often on TV, so people might know of him, but in this film he is different… In this Perlman video you can experience him at the height of his musical ability and fresh virtuosite. He is just so young here (in his twenties) and already then he was a star on the international soloist concert podium. In this movie Perlman talks about everyday things, simple things in life and not just the violin and concert life. Of cource music is a big part of his life, but he still comes across as someone genuinely enjoying life.
