Is this secure?

We have been thinking about moving our servers and IT equipment to a colocation center to make more room in our office and hopefully get a better connection with faster speeds. We are hoping to find a Vancouver colocation center that will be able to help us keep our server up and running all the time, even when there are power outages. Is this possible? Most importantly, would our information and equipment be kept secure? We need to make sure that everything would be safe and secure if we were going to use a colocation center. We have a lot of confidential information on our network.
