Related Paralegal Courses
The types of courses that are required for a paralegal degree will vary, depending upon the level of degree you are obtaining. The associate’s level will provide a basic foundation with courses that include introduction to paralegal studies; legal terminology; legal research; ethics in the law office; and legal writing. The bachelor’s level degree includes a broader spectrum of the law including family law; real estate law; criminal law; litigation; interviewing and investigating; torts; immigration law; environmental law; and leadership and management. Along with these courses comes the opportunity to be an intern at area law firms where you can put into practice the information learned.
