When Your Job Search Gets You Down…
04 July 2008
Let’s face the facts - nobody enjoys looking for jobs. The buzz and excitement that accompany your first steps of setting off on a bold, new career path are soon replaced by feelings of anger and inadequacy. These emotions only seem to draw out and intensify, as months of unemployment keep stacking upon each other like building blocks of failure.
Believe me, I know this all to well. After months of trying to kick-start a new life in my native state, I eventually became frustrated with the lack of opportunity. In a final act of courage, I decided to pack up my belongings and search for jobs in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This was easily the best choice I had made concerning my career. Unlike the decaying job situation I had left at home, I found plenty of career choices lying before me.
