Demonstrators can now print out each customer’s individual receipt simply by accessing each order. This receipt shows a breakdown of the customer’s items, merchandise total, shipping and handling, and tax—but without the Demonstrator commission, so you can hand the receipt right to your customer. To access this feature in UL Express, select the Orders tab, click on any submitted order, then select Print Receipt (located next to each individual customer’s name).

You can now also look up Uppercase Living customers by last name. Simply access the Customers tab and select a letter from the alphabet at the top of the page. The page that follows will include a list of all the customers with a last name beginning with the letter you selected. Depending on how many customers you have whose last name starts with that letter, you may see additional customer names that begin with the next letter.

Perhaps it’s a reaction to permissive parents, but lately I have noticed a parenting style that seems about as destructive as the method it rebeles against. These parents are hyper alert to every move, word and expression their children make and correct the tiniest infraction. Surely this cannot be good for any child. I understand why some parents want to appear “tough” and “in control” but they seem to have forgotten that the point of discipline is to set limits of behavior.
