A New drug that reduces Gout Attack

Currently, there is a new released drug to the market for individuals who are experiencing gout arthritis. RDEA594 is the code name for a promising new gout drug that is currently undergoing clinical trials. Gout is a problem of too much uric acid that circulates in the blood. As a result of that, the body tries to move the uric acid as crystals into the joint. The crystals then create an inflammatory response that is the cause of the pain in gout. RDEA594 is selective URAT1 transporter inhibitor that blocks a pathway that leads to the creation of the uric acid. As the uric acid production is blocked, the blood levels of uric acid are reduced. Because of that reason, they believed that it can reduced gout attack.
