I went out in a hurry to fetch my daughter

I went out in a hurry to fetch my daughter from school this afternoon, totally forgetting that I have just put the pot of soup to boil on the stove! How could I have forgotten? It was lucky that our apartment didn’t blow up, but it was filled with smoke. My best pot is now ruined. Now, I’m asking myself what is the best cookware or pot available? I need to spend sometime to look at some cookware reviews to get myself a new set of cookware now as most of my other pots and pans are also old and used already. I vow to be more careful next time.
