The Charm of Antique Tiffany Lamps

Not long ago I was watching a shop-at-home program and they were selling replicas of Tiffany Lamps, and looking at them brought back a flood of memories.

My grandmother’s home had genuine antique Tiffany lamps in almost every room. They gave the house a charming, elegant feel which I loved.

When I visited my grandmother, I looked forward to evening, when we would walk around the house, turning on those beautiful lamps, with their colorful shades and unique designs.

As the muted light filled the rooms, everything in them seemed softer and more romantic.

Two of those lamps were left to me and I put them in our study. Turning the lamps on as the room darkens each night is still one of my favorite things.
