Types of Flowers: Torenia

Ever heard, Torenia? I bet you’ve heard of the Wishbone Flower. It’s both an annual and a perennial. The flower was discovered in tropical Africa and later on in Asia. You’ll recognize the flower by its tooted ovular shaped leaves. A healthy Torenia, planted in the right spot, will to be about a foot tall. Torenia develops a spectacular number of glorious bulged blossoms that can mature to be an inch across. Torenia flowers are famous for their extended range of ravishing colors, including various shades of white, blue, purple, mauve or lavender. Tornias can be grown in an environment that has a temperature of 70 degrees or more. It’s probably among the most unknown types of flowers, but definitely a flower hard to forget once you’ve had some growing in your garden.
