Be consistent

Children who eat family meals are more likely to eat the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables, to take in the vitamins and minerals that they need, and to consume less sugar and fat. Eating dinner as a family engenders conversations about healthy eating and instills better dietary habits in children, habits that they know should be carried with them when they eat away from home. But since parents and children are separated at lunch, children reason that its just lunch and what harm can be done if they eat foods that are not healthy. To benefit from a healthy lifesyle, we must be consistent.
