Credit Fraud

Being a new college student and hearing all the horror stories about credit fraud I quickly began shredding every document that came in the mail for free credit. What I did do about my credit was subscribe for a free credit report so that I could keep tabs on my own score. You really have to keep careful watch on your credit because no matter how diligent I was, I was still a victim of credit fraud in a major computer purchase. I could not afford the computer and definitely fought the charges but it is still very scary to think how easy it is to be a victim of credit fraud.
