Venomous or Poisonous Spiders?

It is so uncommon to find a higher percentage rate of deaths due to spider bites. While most spiders are generally harmless, there are a number of them which contain venom that can kill other animals or even humans upon biting them.  I have seen different pictures of spider bites and it is kind of scary. However, several antivenins are proven to be effective against the spider bites which reduce the fatality rate of spider bites in humans. It is often misconstrued however to reflect spiders are poisonous. This is a term inaccurately used by many to describe spiders. Spiders use venom to kill their preys hence venomous is the most appropriate word to describe spiders instead of poisonous. This is another eye opener to most of us who usually describe spiders as poisonous.
