Where’s the Focus on My Binoculars?

As a child I remember constantly adjusting the focus and zoom on my binoculars.  It seems as soon as I found something of interest it would move away and I would be back to fiddling with the rings and dials to adjust again.  Newer modern optical systems have an automatic focus in them.  No need to focus, you simply point your binoculars to the object you want to see and it is instantly in focus.  This is accomplished by the binoculars setting their focus to infinity.  With this setting wherever you point your binoculars it will be sharply in focus.  It makes it much easier to enjoy nature and stop fussing with all the dials on your binoculars.
