How the memory system in a human brain works

Our memory system is truly a remarkable thing. Unlike the memory on a computer, we don’t have perfect recall of things that we saw years ago. However, it is also true that we never really forget anything. Instead, our minds work kind of like a massive storage facility. There are the pieces that are used all the time and those are right at the front, then there are parts that are in the back, but still needed, which can be recalled at a moment’s notice and then there are the things that are buried somewhere in the warehouse. They’re there and if you really hunt, you’ll find them. But this site will tell you how to organize things differently so that the information that you need to remember will always be right there up front.
