Pre embargo cuban cigars
Yes it’s quite hard to believe that there was a time when trading with Cuban was legal. Sometimes people come up and ask me for any pre embargo cuban cigars. The brands that come to mind are the Montecristo, H.Upmann, Ramon Allones and Rome Y Julieta. The fortunate thing is that the embargo that was placed on Cuba, really didn’t effect the Cuban cigar industry. It made the allure of getting a Cuban cigar more stronger than ever. Since the United States is the biggest market for Cuban cigars, after the embargo, it only made people want them more. Cohiba on the other hand was a brand introduced after the embargo and again, only adds to the fine line of pre embargo Cuban cigars. Cuban cigars are just as special as they were when Chirstopher Columbus was introduced to them back in 1492, the tradition and art continues.
