Smoking Kills Entertainment Systems

My Aunt Robin was visiting us last Christmas for the holidays. She had been a smoker for years, but we went ahead and let her stay with us as long as she promised not to smoke in the house. Well, I guess she forgot all about that because three days later we caught her smoking in the living room. How did we catch her? Well, we had gone out for the evening, but walked in the door that night to find her pacing next to the chared remains of our entertainment center. It seems that she fell asleep with a cigaret in her hand, which fell on the carpet and set the cabinet on fire. Luckily, the fire didn’t spread much further down the wall before she woke up and put it out, and she wasn’t hurt, which was a blessing. The entertainment center took the worst of it. All that was left was one Toslink signal cable and our TV remote control.  I don’t think she will be staying with us again next year.
